add-ons
Not standard equipment
Add-ons are supplementary items or features attached to something already complete or functional.
The term appears frequently in software contexts, where add-ons extend a browser's or application's capabilities: I installed a few add-ons to block ads and manage passwords.
In commerce, add-ons are extras offered at the point of sale, like warranty coverage or premium upgrades.
The word emphasizes that these enhancements are optional rather than essential.
