Thigh fronts, informally
Quads is the informal term for quadriceps—the large muscle group at the front of the thigh: My quads are burning after those squats.
The word also refers to quadruplets (four siblings born together), a quadrangle (a courtyard surrounded by buildings, especially on a college campus), or four of a kind in poker.
