nipple
Infant feeding point
A nipple is the small projection at the center of a mammal's breast or udder through which milk is released during nursing.
In humans, the surrounding darker area is the areola, though nipple often refers to both together.
By extension, nipple describes any small projection resembling one: the rubber nipple on a baby bottle, or a threaded pipe fitting that connects two other fittings.
