vulva
Outer female anatomy
The vulva is the external female genitalia—the visible parts surrounding the vaginal opening, including the labia, clitoris, and urethral opening.
The term is anatomical and clinical, distinct from vagina, which refers to the internal canal: The vulva and vagina are often confused in casual speech.
