Shaping metal artistically
Metalcraft is the skill or practice of shaping metal into functional or decorative objects—whether through forging, welding, casting, or other techniques.
The term covers everything from jewelry making to blacksmithing to sculptural work: She studied metalcraft at the art institute.
A metalcraft can also be a finished piece made by such methods.
