kinetic
Pertaining to motion
Kinetic means relating to motion.
In physics, kinetic energy is the energy a body possesses by virtue of being in motion, as opposed to potential energy.
Outside technical contexts, kinetic describes things characterized by movement or activity: kinetic art moves or appears to move, and a kinetic personality is energetic and dynamic.
Military usage distinguishes kinetic operations—involving physical force—from cyber or psychological warfare.
