Lo mein is a Chinese-American noodle dish featuring wheat noodles tossed with vegetables, meat, and sauce.
Unlike chow mein, where noodles are fried crispy, lo mein noodles are soft and stirred into the other ingredients: I'll have the chicken lo mein with extra vegetables.
