chow fun
Wide Cantonese noodles
Chow fun is a Cantonese dish of wide, flat rice noodles stir-fried with meat, vegetables, and soy sauce.
The noodles themselves—slippery, chewy ribbons—are also called chow fun or ho fun.
Beef chow fun, with tender slices of flank steak, is the most popular version: I'll have the beef chow fun.
