dynast
Born to power
A dynast is a ruler or member of a ruling family, especially one belonging to a hereditary line of sovereigns: The Habsburg dynasts controlled much of Europe for centuries.
The word emphasizes succession and lineage—dynasts inherit power rather than seize or earn it.
Less formally, dynast can describe anyone from a powerful family maintaining influence across generations.
