pedigree
Bloodline on paper
Pedigree is the recorded ancestry or lineage of a person or animal, especially when that lineage is distinguished or pure.
Dog breeders and horse enthusiasts use pedigree to document bloodlines and establish an animal's breeding credentials.
By extension, pedigree describes any impressive background or set of qualifications: Her academic pedigree includes degrees from Oxford and MIT.
Something with pedigree has an established reputation or proven track record: a wine with real pedigree.
