bluejacket

Enlisted naval servicemember

A bluejacket is an enlisted sailor in the navy, named for the dark blue uniform jacket traditionally worn.

The term distinguishes ordinary seamen from officers: The bluejackets scrubbed the deck while officers dined in the wardroom.

It's somewhat old-fashioned but still used, especially in British and historical contexts.
