landlubber
No sea legs
A landlubber is someone unfamiliar with the sea or sailing—a person who stays on land rather than venturing onto boats.
The term originated as sailors' contemptuous slang for the inexperienced or clumsy: The landlubbers stumbled around the deck, grabbing anything bolted down.
Now mostly playful or nostalgic, evoking pirate movies and nautical fiction.
