Blue-veiled desert people
The Tuareg are a Berber people of the Sahara Desert, traditionally nomadic herders and traders known for their distinctive indigo-dyed clothing and the men's practice of wearing veils.
They inhabit regions across Niger, Mali, Algeria, Libya, and Burkina Faso.
The plural is Tuareg or Tuaregs; as an adjective it describes their culture, language, or crafts: Tuareg jewelry, Tuareg rebellion.
