Wind-sculpted ridge
A sand dune is a mound or ridge of sand shaped by wind, typically found in deserts or along coastlines.
Dunes shift and migrate as wind moves sand from one side to the other.
They range from small ripples to massive formations hundreds of feet high: We climbed the sand dunes to watch the sunset.
