Napoléon

French military dictator

Napoléon Bonaparte (1769–1821) was a French military commander who rose to power during the Revolution and crowned himself Emperor.

His campaigns reshaped European borders and legal systems; the Napoleonic Code still influences civil law worldwide.

The name evokes military genius, boundless ambition, and eventual downfall—his retreat from Moscow and defeat at Waterloo became bywords for overreach.

A napoleon is also a layered pastry and a former French gold coin.

He fancies himself a Napoleon, but he can't even manage his own staff.
