Elba
Mediterranean exile destination
Elba is an Italian island in the Tyrrhenian Sea, best known as the site of Napoleon Bonaparte's first exile in 1814–1815.
The island gives its name to the palindrome "Able was I ere I saw Elba," apocryphally attributed to Napoleon himself.
They visited Elba to see Napoleon's villa.
