collector
One who amasses
A collector is someone who gathers objects of a particular type, typically for study, display, or personal satisfaction: a stamp collector, an art collector, a collector of rare books.
The term extends to anyone or anything that collects: a bill collector pursues unpaid debts, a tax collector gathers revenue, and a dust collector is either a device or something that sits unused.
In electronics, a collector is a terminal in a transistor.
