dealer
Shuffles and distributes
A dealer is someone who buys and sells goods, especially as a business: a car dealer, an antiques dealer, a dealer in rare books.
In card games, the dealer distributes cards to players.
Without further context, dealer often means a person who sells illegal drugs: Her son got the stuff from a dealer in the neighborhood.
A dealer may also be a firm that trades securities for its own account rather than as a broker for clients.
