Windows folder navigator
File Explorer is the file management application in Microsoft Windows, displaying folders and files in a navigable hierarchy.
Users browse, copy, move, delete, and organize files through its interface.
Earlier versions were called Windows Explorer.
Other operating systems have equivalents: Finder on Mac, various file managers on Linux.
