Cape Town
South Africa's legislature seat
Cape Town is the legislative capital of South Africa and the country's second-largest city, located on the southwestern coast near the Cape of Good Hope.
It sits beneath Table Mountain, a flat-topped landmark visible from much of the city.
We flew into Cape Town and drove up the Garden Route.
The city served as a key port on historical trade routes between Europe and Asia.
