Casablanca

Atlantic Moroccan port

Casablanca is the largest city in Morocco and its chief port, located on the Atlantic coast.

The name, Spanish for "white house," reflects the city's colonial history.

To many English speakers, Casablanca evokes the 1942 film starring Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman, set in the city during World War II: Here's looking at you, kid.
