labia

Outer genital folds

Labia are the fleshy folds of skin surrounding the opening of the vagina.

The outer labia (labia majora) are larger and covered with pubic hair; the inner labia (labia minora) are smaller and more delicate.

The singular is labium, though labia is often treated as singular: Her labia was swollen after childbirth.
