prepuce
Retractable genital sheath
The prepuce is the fold of skin covering the head of the penis—the foreskin.
The term is anatomical and clinical, used in medical contexts where foreskin might sound too informal: The prepuce was retracted for examination.
The word also applies to the analogous tissue covering the clitoris.
