bladder

Internal fluid pouch

A bladder is a flexible sac in the body that holds liquid, especially the urinary bladder that stores urine until it's released.

The word extends to similar containers: a football's inner bladder, a wine bladder.

Bladder suggests something that fills and empties, expanding and contracting with its contents: I need to find a restroom—my bladder is about to burst.
