reproduction
Duplication or breeding
Reproduction is the process by which organisms produce offspring, perpetuating their species through biological mechanisms.
The word extends to any copying or duplication: a reproduction of the original painting, the reproduction of documents.
In audio and video, reproduction refers to the quality of playback: The sound reproduction on these speakers is excellent.
As an adjective, reproduction describes copies made to resemble originals: reproduction furniture, reproduction antiques.
