torc
Twisted metal collar
A torc is a rigid metal neck ring, typically open at the front and often twisted or decorated.
Torcs were worn as ornaments and symbols of status in ancient Celtic, Germanic, and other European cultures.
Archaeological finds show them crafted from gold, silver, bronze, or iron: The museum displayed a gold torc from the Iron Age.
