sea lion

Walrus's smaller cousin

A sea lion is a large marine mammal with external ear flaps and long flippers, found along coastlines of the Pacific and parts of the Southern Hemisphere.

Unlike seals, sea lions can rotate their hind flippers forward to walk on land.

They're known for their barking calls and are commonly trained for performances in marine parks and zoos.
