radiography
Internal body photography
Radiography is the practice or technique of producing images using X-rays or other forms of radiation that can penetrate solid objects.
Medical radiography allows doctors to see bones and internal structures without surgery; industrial radiography inspects welds and materials for hidden defects.
A person who performs radiography is a radiographer or radiologic technologist.
The chest radiography revealed a small fracture that the initial exam had missed.
