radiographer
Medical imaging specialist
A radiographer is a healthcare professional who operates imaging equipment to produce X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, and other diagnostic images.
In hospitals and clinics, radiographers position patients, ensure proper exposure settings, and work alongside radiologists who interpret the results.
The radiographer asked me to hold my breath while she took the chest X-ray.
