pustules

Infected skin blisters

Pustules are small, inflamed bumps on the skin containing pus—the yellowish fluid of dead cells and immune debris.

They appear in acne, chickenpox, and various skin infections.

A single such bump is a pustule.

The adjective pustular describes skin marked by these formations: a pustular rash.
