Sebum-blocked skin bumps
Whiteheads are small skin blemishes—pores clogged with oil and dead skin that remain closed at the surface, appearing as tiny white or flesh-colored bumps.
Unlike blackheads, which are open and darken from oxidation, whiteheads stay sealed: My forehead breaks out in whiteheads when I skip washing my face.
