bleb

Small fluid sac

A bleb is a small blister or bubble, especially one filled with fluid on or beneath the skin.

In medicine, blebs are air-filled sacs that can form on lung tissue.

The word also applies to similar bubble-like formations in biology and materials science: A bleb formed where the burn had been.
