parade
Floats and bands
A parade is a public procession, typically celebratory or ceremonial: the Thanksgiving Day parade, a military parade.
The verb means to march in such a procession, or more broadly, to display something ostentatiously: He paraded his knowledge at every opportunity.
A parade of things is a series of them: a parade of witnesses.
To rain on someone's parade is to spoil their enjoyment.
