floats
Doesn't go under
Floats are things that rest on a liquid's surface without sinking.
A parade float is a decorated platform on wheels—originally so-called because early versions were pulled through flooded streets.
A float is also a buoyant device: The fishing line had a float to signal bites.
In beverages, a float is ice cream bobbing in soda: root beer float.
The verb covers staying buoyant, moving gently, or letting currency values fluctuate freely.
Whatever floats your boat means whatever pleases you.
