parade floats
Decorated mobile platforms
Parade floats are large, elaborately decorated platforms mounted on wheels that move through streets as part of a parade.
They typically carry performers, displays, or themed scenes and are designed to be viewed from all sides as they pass by crowds.
Floats range from simple flatbed trucks with decorations to massive motorized structures featuring animatronics, live performers, and intricate designs.
The Rose Parade is famous for floats covered entirely in flowers.
