Regular subscriber mailings
Newsletters are periodical publications distributed to subscribers, typically by email but historically by mail.
They contain news, updates, or commentary on a particular topic or from a particular organization: I subscribe to several tech newsletters, the company's monthly newsletter.
The term now often refers to independent email publications by individual writers building audiences outside traditional media.
