issue
Matter requiring attention
Issue has one meaning as a verb and many meanings as a noun.
When you issue something such as a statement, warning, report, or order, you make it known to others.
An issue can be the result: Have you seen the latest issue of PC Magazine?
A much more common use of issue is synonymous with problem: We continue to experience issues with our new server.
When it is said of someone that they have issues, it usually indicates an emotional, attitudinal, or relationship problem.
