muscle-ups

Rings-to-support transition

A muscle-up is a gymnastic movement combining a pull-up with a dip—you pull yourself up to a bar or rings, then push through to full arm extension above it.

It's a demanding exercise requiring both pulling and pushing strength: It took me six months to get my first muscle-up.

Common in CrossFit and calisthenics training.
