jogger

Park path regular

A jogger is someone who jogs—runs at a steady, moderate pace for exercise.

The term emerged with the jogging craze of the 1970s and remains the standard word for recreational runners: Early morning joggers filled the park.

Joggers are also loose-fitting pants with elastic cuffs, designed for athletic or casual wear.
