Novelists and journalists
Writers are people who write, especially those who do so professionally or as a serious pursuit.
The term covers novelists, journalists, screenwriters, poets, and anyone who composes text for publication or performance.
She's one of my favorite writers.
Writer can also mean simply the person who wrote something: The writer of this letter remains anonymous.
