heatmap

Color-coded data display

A heatmap is a data visualization that uses color gradients to represent values across a two-dimensional surface.

Areas of high intensity appear in warm colors (red, orange), while low-intensity areas appear cool (blue, green).

Heatmaps show website user behavior, geographic population density, or any data where spatial patterns matter: The heatmap showed most clicks concentrated in the upper left corner.
