fats
Butter and lard
Fats are oily substances found in animal tissue and plant seeds, solid at room temperature unlike oils.
In nutrition, fats form one of the three macronutrients alongside proteins and carbohydrates: healthy fats, saturated fats, trans fats.
Fat also refers informally to overweight people, though this use is often considered rude: a bunch of fats sitting around.
