richness

Depth of flavor

Richness is the quality of being rich—abundant, full, or valuable.

Soil has richness when fertile; colors have richness when deep and saturated; food has richness when heavy with fat or flavor.

The word extends to complexity and depth: the richness of her prose, the richness of the orchestration.

Richness can also mean wealth, though abundance of money is usually just called wealth.
