dinosaur
Prehistoric scaly beast
Dinosaurs are a group of reptiles that dominated Earth for over 160 million years before going extinct about 66 million years ago.
They ranged from chicken-sized to the largest land animals ever.
Calling someone a dinosaur suggests they're outdated or unable to adapt: He's a dinosaur who still refuses to use email.
The word comes from Greek for "terrible lizard."
