hadrosaur
Cretaceous herbivore reptile
A hadrosaur is a duck-billed dinosaur—a large plant-eating dinosaur from the Late Cretaceous period with a broad, flattened snout resembling a duck's bill.
Hadrosaurs walked on two or four legs and are among the most commonly found dinosaur fossils in North America.
The museum's hadrosaur skeleton dominated the main hall.
