botanic
Concerning living flora
Botanic means relating to plants or the scientific study of plants.
It appears most often in fixed phrases: a botanic garden is a place where plants are cultivated for research, conservation, and public display.
The form botanical is more common in general use, but botanic persists in proper names and formal contexts.
