herbarium
Preserved plant collection
A herbarium is a collection of preserved plant specimens, typically dried and mounted on sheets, used for scientific study and reference.
By extension, it also refers to the building or room where such a collection is housed.
The university's herbarium contains over two million specimens dating back to the 1800s.
