boneyard
Where vehicles retire
A boneyard is a place where bones accumulate—originally a cemetery, now more often a storage area for discarded vehicles, machinery, or aircraft: rows of decommissioned planes baking in the desert boneyard.
In dominoes, the boneyard is the pile of undrawn tiles.
The word carries a sense of abandonment and decay.
