lung
Thoracic air sac
A lung is one of the pair of spongy organs in the chest that extract oxygen from inhaled air and expel carbon dioxide.
Most vertebrates have lungs; fish have gills instead.
To shout at the top of your lungs is to shout as loudly as possible.
A lung in slang can mean a cigarette or the act of smoking one.
