dimple
Smile's small dent
A dimple is a small natural indentation in the flesh, especially the kind that appears in the cheeks or chin when someone smiles.
The word extends to any small depression in a surface: dimples on a golf ball, dimples in sheet metal.
As a verb, to dimple is to form such indentations: Her cheeks dimpled when she laughed.
